TERMS

  • Cause - a thing that gives rise to an event

  • Construct - the act of building something

  • Effect - an event

  • Evidence - anything presented to support a claim

  • Explanation - a logical reason for a phenomenon

  • Measurements - quantitative data gathered in an investigation

  • Observations - a statement about something you notice

  • Patterns - regularity in the world

  • Reasoning - the action of thinking about something in a logical way
