Plan and conduct investigations collaboratively to produce evidence to answer a question and make observations to collect data which can be used to make comparisons.

TERMS

  • Conduct - to carry out or do

  • Data - measurements or statistics used for evidence

  • Evidence - anything presented to support a claim

  • Investigation - a searching inquiry for obtaining facts

  • Phenomenon - observable events in the natural world (require explanations)

  • Plan - create activities for something

  • Purpose - the reason for which something is done or created

  • Question - a sentence that asks for information
